(10mbit broadband makes you think everything below 500kb/s is slow) That might be because I don't have a Shuffle, I'm still clinging to my Mini. Software issue, probably. Ideas for podcasts: What's the weather like, extremes like typhoons,are they as extreme as North America, getting worse. Once you get mobile how about climbing Mt. Fuji? I hear there are seasonal festivals, do you ever attend? While you are out and about you might comment on the homeless, what I call the 'blue tarp people'. Visiting Tokyo this was as much a 'feature' of Japan as vending machines, canned coffee, etc. Had problem listening to the ELECTIONS podcast on my ipod shuffle. Had to convert the file to AAC before it would play properly. Has anyone else had problems; a setting in the new software?
