Could you possibly post up a picture of your wife’s keyboard that you talked about in this episode? Thanks.

Hello Josh
I love your podcast! Anyways, is there any childrens programming or any kind of programming out there that teach japanese voacb or anything like that (you know, like sesame street). It’s actually for me, I think watching a little kids show on learning japanese vocab would be the easiest way to go (the repetitive nature of that kind of programming is just right for me).

rob,
i’m not sure the name of it, but there is always some of everything, but most of the edutainment shows that focus on strict teaching of languages are in the AM. just watch nhk, and you’ll get to see some of them. but sorry, i just don’t know the names of the actual segments.
to be honest though, you’ll mainly find segments that focus on teaching english. they are really into teaching kids the basic of all basics when it comes to english. pretty cool even though most parents don’t keep watering that seed once it’s planted in the kid by the TV.

Thanks!
I was hoping there was a sesame street where cookie monster is teaching “NEAR…..FAR!” in japanese.I guess I’ll have to do it the old fashioned way, community college! Thanks for the reply.
