ame ame ame

well, i joined the navy expecting to avoid hurricane season back home, but instead, i move to a place with a constant seasonal flow of typhoons! at least here no one tapes up their windows to make the neighborhood look like a bum-town….

    Hi josh i have been listening to you podcasts with great intrest as i will be moving to tokyo in a years time. i am hope all if fine in the awful weather that is hit the coast and i though london is gloomy all the time. i am a fashion designer i design for ralph lauren, cavali and a bunch of other i was just wondering if you could give me some advise to follow before i come to tokyo i have already statred learning japanese my girlfreind is help me with that but i am looking for an outsiders point of veiw on the subject matter. it would be a great help thanking you .

    thanks for listening! all is well here. it was nice and hot and sunny around 8am this morning. no damage just alot of rain!

    i’m not sure what kind of advice you need. if you have any specific questions, let me know and i will be more than happy to help as much as i can, but there’s so much to go over it would take forever. i would suggest you check out http://www.about.com and search “japan”. there is a wealth of info there! anyways, thanks again for listening! take care,

    First, get a raincoat man! Second, hey how about a podcast about sports? I’ve heard that baseball is huge over there, and I was curious if you have ever been at any games, or any other sporting events in Japan.

    and no, unfortunately i have never been to any games over here. not that i don’t want to, but the wife really isn’t into sports…..
