podcasting whore
yes folks, i am a podcasting whore….. in my adventures to bring more folks in to my wonderful world, I have subscribed with podcasting clicks. The new banner you noticed that is engulfing a majority of the sidebar is a random banner that podcsters can submit links to for their show. this way, people can be introduced to my show through other people’s websites, and vice-versa. pretty cool. so does that make me a podcasting whore, just looking to satisfy more and more listeners for free? ya, ok, i guess it does….
oh, BTW, if you click on the ad, i make a couple cents……

Hi Josh,
I’m Rami, french studend living currently in Paris. I wanted to say that I like your show very much, it’s great to hear and discover again ,through podcast, a lot of things about Japan, country where I lived one year and I still don’t know good enough. I really liked the topic about food, I found it very funny,it reminded me my own experience, especially when you talked about the disgusting food. I personnaly dislike tororo and konnyaku( did you mention those??).
I’ve just listened the last episode about the vending machine. Very interesting,I really thought because except the drink machine, I didn’t know nothing about the rice, ice cream, CD or porn video vending machine. The last one is so incredible, maybe I have not understood clearly or you were maybe joking but if it’s true, it’s something I’d never had imagined in a country like Japan, I mean, where sex exist but it’s very hidden.
Well, your explanation has been very clear and exhaustive, I think there’s nothing left to add or maybe just one or two things about the drink vending machine. the first one is maybe something stupid but I’ve been very suprised to see that it was possible to buy hot coffee cans, those things don’t exist in France and I never thought hot coffee cans vending machine could exist. The second thing is just an information very interesting just to get an idea of the number of drink vending machine in Japan. The average for all Japan is one drink vending machine every 40 meters.So, wherever you are in Japan, you’re supposed to find a drink vending machine in an area of 40 meters, it’s so incredible.
You said that someone asked you to speak about dating in Japan. I think this is a fantastic idea. Every gaikokujin( I don’t really like the word gaijin which is pejorative)who went to Japan knows that the dating way is totally different than in western countries. I just think that except for americans which are beloved like gods(this is my humble point of you), it’s quite difficult but not impossible to date a japanese girl. I succeeded but it was so difficult. So I would like to have your point of view as american on this topic.
Well, thank you again for everything and hope you’ll be able to go on with your podcast. I’ll never skip an episode.

Hi, you’ll get your adsense account cancelled if you ask people to click your ads, even indirectly as you did. But it’s showing PSA’s now, so you won’t make any money either way.
I suggest you move it in a space between the posts and use a large rectangle instead, like on engadget.
