Hey Josh, your podcast is great! My girlfriend and her family are Japanese (authentic FOB), so I’ve learned a lot of cultural things from them, but it’s nice to learn by topic. Keep up the great work.

Hi Josh, I’m listening to you in Los Angeles. I wondered if you planned to talk about learning the language at all. It sounds like you do speak some Japanese at least. I study Japanese myself and plan to go, maybe next summer.

lol, been here 5 years, have a wife and kid, but speak barely any japanese. i’m around too many damn americans to really need to get into the japanese. i do want to learn, and i have just enrolled (about 2 weeks ago) into my first japanese class. i looked at the curriculum, and it’s pretty much all stuff i already know.
thanks for the idea though. that was already one of my topics that i have written down. we’re both on the same page
